MURDER CHARGE

TRAGEDY AT MANUNUI. ACCUSED REMANDED. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) AUCKLAND, September 30. The first appearance in the Magistrates’ Court since he was remanded after his arrest was made today by Charles Harold Longley, who was charged that, at Manunui, near Taumarunui, on September 22, he murdered Jeremiah O'Sullivan. On the application of the police Longley was remanded to appear at Taumarunui on October 7.
