VITAL TO AMERICAN SECURITY. LABOUR LEADER’S VIEW. (By Telegraph—Press Association —Copyright) BOSTON, September 25. Mr William Green, president of the American Federation of Labour, addressing the convention of the American Legion, said: “The American people feel that Britain’s victory is vital for the security of the United States. It would seem logical, therefore, that Americans should extend to Britain and her heroic Army and Navy all support possible short of war. ’ The convention approved a resolution that Harry Bridges should be deported.
