COSY THEATRE
“OKAY FOR SOUND.” The change of programme tonight will be headed by two outstanding pictures. “Okay For Sound,” features Peter Dawson, Enid Stamp Taylor, The Crazy Gang, the Band of H.M. Royal Marines, and a host of comic stars. The screen production of the successful London Palladium stage show is a hilarious satire on motion picture production and one of the merriest and most tuneful musicals ever filmed. Prominent in the outstanding cast is the famous singer, Peter Dawson, who is heard in several numbers. On the same programme will be seen the gay comedy-romance, “Three Blind Mice.”" notable for the selection of Loretta Young and Joel McCrea as costars. “Three Blind Mice” also adds a brilliant cast which includes David Niven, Stuart Erwin, Marjorie Weaver, Pauline Moore, Binnie Barnes and Jane Darwell. In the capable hands of veteran director William A. Seiter the ethereal charm of Miss Young registers a new, thrilling portrayal. Miss Young, Miss Weaver and Miss Moore form the trio of mid-Western girls who gamble their entire inheritance on the theory that it “is just as easy to fall in love with a rich man as a poor one.”
