WRESTLING
EMPIRE TITLE. REGAINED BY McCREADY. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) DUNEDIN. September 24. By a fall secured in the sixth round. Earl McCready regained the Empire wrestling title from John Katan tonight. A packed house witnessed a bout which was hard but not spectacular, and the fact that McCready did most of the attacking made him a firm favourite with the crowd. There were occasional bouts of jolting, but for the most part the wrestling was tight and hard.
