ITALIAN CLAIMS
AIR RAIDS IN AFRICA. (By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright) (Received This Day, Noon.) ROME, September 11. A communique states: "The Italian Air Force repeatedly attacked Solium, Sidi Barrani and Mersa Matruh and bombed and machine-gunned plants, army vericles and troops. Considerable damage was observed. Our bombers shot down two British fighters. Two Italian planes are missing. "The enemy raided Bardia, Tobruk, Derna and Lassala and considerably damaged non-military objectives. Thirteen persons were killed and 21 wounded.
