$ TWO MEN SHOT BY FIRING SQUAD. (By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright) DUBLIN, September 8. Patrick McGrath and Thomas Green were executed by a firing squad. The execution was delayed as the result of a fruitless appeal against the legality of the Military Court. A military court sentenced McGrath and Green to death on August 21 in connection with the killing of a detective when a raid was made on what was apparently an empty shop in Dublin. the detectives being met by ma-chine-gun and revolver fire. A large radio transmitting station was discovered in the building.
