RESCUED BY SUBMARINE FOUND ON NORWEGIAN SHIP. LATTER SCUTTLED BY GERMANS. An Admiralty communique transmitted by Daventry states that the British submarine Truant rescued the crew of a British ship which had been sunk by a German raider. The submarine stopped a Norwegian, ship, which, it was found, had been captured by a German raider, which had placed a prize crew aboard. Also on board were the captain and crew of a British ship sunk by the raider. When the Norwegian ship was stopped the German prize crew scuttled her and took to the boats.
