A NOBLE WAR
MR CHURCHILL ADDRESSES N.Z. TROOPS POWERFUL ARMIES READY TO MEET ENEMY ATTACKS. (By Telegraph—Press Association— Copyright) LONDON, September 5. The Prime Minsiter, Mr Churchill, addressing the New Zealand troops, said: “We are now bearing the accumulated weight of the enemy’s malice and tyranny, but we do not feel overweighted by it. “When you first arrived four months ago a comparatively small enemy might have wrought havoc before they were finished off, but now we have most powerful armies, and if, as some people think, that bad man is inclined lo try his venture, I feel sure we will give a good account of ourselves. “We do not feel lonely when the sons of the Dominions overseas, where they breed the finest fighters, come here or go to other parts of the Empire to bear their part in the greatest of all wars we have ever fought. None has been nobler and more righteous than this, and from nene shall we emerge with a greater sense of our duty done.
