EMISSARIES OF VICHY GOVERNMENT STRICT SECRECY OBSERVED. (B.v Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright) LONDON. September 5. The correspondent of “The Times” in Athens says six special emissaries of the Vichy Government passed through Athens by air for Syria. The importance of the mission is emphasised by the fact that they are travelling incognito and the strictest measures are being taken to preserve their anonymity.
