The games last night were of a much higher standard than last week. The best game of the night was between W.F.C.A. and Bouzaids. The two teams had scored 24 points each at the call of time. An extra five minutes was played and after a very exciting match Bouzaids won by three points. The Pullar-Wilson combination was an outstanding feature of this game. Old Boys created a record in the competition by winning by 42 points against Red Star. Old Boys arc the most improved team in the competition and are developing into a good combination.

P. and T. Department deserved their win against Vesta, but the latter team was without the services of McShesney, one of their best players. Reliance A played well against Grahams, B. Bodie potting some good long shots. Grahams still lack a good goalthrower, but their combination has improved. In the Masterton Football Club-Reli-ance B match, play was of a good standard. W. Reynolds, who scored 14 points for Reliance, played well, and the Riley-Reynolds goal throwing combination will be a source of danger to other teams.
