COMPANY RETURNS. Gillespie’s Beach gold dredge reports a return of 540 z from 18,720 cubic yards in 149 hours. The Clutha dredge returned 330 z for 121 hours.
The Waitahu Company reports a partial wash-up of No. 24 produced 240 z for 221 shifts of eight hours. Ground sluciing gave a return of 6oz.
