HOSIERY MILLS

FIFTEENTH ANNUAL REPORT. SMALL NET PROFIT RECORDED. "Your directors hereby present the annual report and balance sheet for the twelve months ending July 19, 1940, being the fifteenth year of the company’s operations,” states the annual report of the Masterton Spinning and Hosiery Mills Ltd. "Your directors are pleased to report a small net profit on the year’s working, in spite of delays caused by raw material not being always available. Provided the necessary raw material is available during the coming year the prospects of the company look favourable. Under the articles of association Messrs L. B. Maunsell and W. H. Judd are the retiring directors, but being eligible, offer themselves for re-election. The date of closing of nominations will be September 18, 1940. Messrs Sellar and Sellar, the retiring auditors, offer their services for the ensuing year.” The report is presented for the board by Mr S. R. Gawith, chairman.
