TERRORISM IN FRANCE
AUTOMOBILE WORKERS EXECUTED FOR PROTESTING AGAINST LONG HOURS. CASES OF MYSTERIOUS DISAPPEARANCE. (By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright) (Received This Day, 12.25 p.m.) LONDON. September 1. The newspaper "France,” the organ of the Free Frenchmen, states that during the past fortnight fourteen men at the Renault Automobile Works in Paris, have been executed for protesting against working hours. In several towns of occupied France numerous persons accused of favouring resistance have mysteriously disappeared.
