The combined hunt clubs of Taranaki concluded their annual race meeting today in fine weather and before a large attendance. The track was heavy at the commencement, but improved rapidly as the day progressed. Biform and Veralum, winners on the first day, each scored another win in its respective class, while the two open races on the flat went to Noble Fox and Sea Link. The totalisator handled £19.670 10s. compared with £20,441 on the second day last year, when the Gloucester Cup was run.
