TO GO ON STAGE
JOAN CRAWFORD'S PLANS. Having completed the film, “Susan and God," which has been banned in Sydney, Joan Crawford is planning to go to New York in the hope of finding a stage play. "If I can find the sort of thing I want,” she said, “I have arranged to notify the studio and take a sevenmonths leave of absence, so that I can appear in the play in New York during the autumn.
“I have high hopes of really doing some stage work this year.”
