AVIATION PETROL

BIG RESERVES IN CANADA. OTTAWA. Reserves of high grade aviation gasoline on hand in Canada are now very substantially in excess of the Air Force and Air Training Plan requirements during the coming year, according to an announcement made by the Department of Munitions and Supply. The reserves have been built up voluntarily by the oil companies. They comprise the high octane grades of gasoline essential for Canadian war planes and for the training planes which will be employed under the British Commonwealth Air Training Plan. The capacity of the Canadian oil refineries is sufficient to take care of the expanding needs of the R.C.A.F. and the air training plan in 1941 and 1942.
