STOPPED BY BRITISH BLOCKADE. ATTEMPT TO OPEN SAHARA ROUTE. (By Telegraph—Press Association —Copyright) (Received This Day, 1.25 p.m.) LONDON, August 27. The Lyons radio stated that the British blockade of Atlantic ports had stopped French traffic between Marseilles and Dakar and between Dakar and Algeria. The French authorities consequently arc trying to divert the traffic from sea to land connections. The main route across the Sahara will be opened.
