WEXFORD BOMBING
OBVIOUSLY DELIBERATE ATTACK NUMBERS OF PEOPLE INJURED. MANY HOUSES DAMAGED. (By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright) LONDON, August 27. A Dublin message states that at least 10 bombs were dropped in Wexford. Many houses were damaged and numbers of people were injured by glass and splinters. Spectators thought the plane was making a forced landing when a bomb suddenly, fell. The manager of the creamery said that■ some members of his staff watched the plane, which appeared to be foreign. The body of one of the girls who were killed was found sitting at a table with a knife and fork in her hands. Four bombs fell there, and one which failed to explode bore German markings. Another smashed a pipeline to the creamery, another damaged a railway siding, and the fourth fell near a hotel. “NOTHING KNOWN” BY MILITARY CIRCLES IN BERLIN. (Received This Day. 99.55 a.m.) BERLIN. August 27. Military circles declared that nothing is known of the Eire bombing on Monday.
