Mr McNeur will give a public lecture in the Opera House on Monday next at 3 p.m.. on “China. New Zealand’s Neighbour." Mr McNeur has for 38 years been working in Canton, China, with the Presbyterian Church of New Zealand and is an authority on Bri-tish-Chinese relationships. During the last two years of his residence there the area was occupied by the Japanese and in that connection he has an interesting story to tell. All interested are invited to hear this informative speaker.
