The death occurred at Auckland on Sunday of Mrs M. Smith, sister of Mrs Yalden, of Cole Street, Masterton.
Miss Vai. McKenzie has returned to Masterton after a ski-ing and climbing holiday spent at Mount Ruapehu with members of the Manawatu Tramping Club. Mr and Mrs S. L. P. Free have returned to Masterton from Wellington, where Mr Free attended the district Rotary Conference and the annual conference of the Crippled Children's Society.
