LINK WITH JAPAN
RADIO TELEPHONE SERVICE
It has been announced by the Post-master-General of Australia that a direct radio telephone link between Australia and Japan would probably be opened within a few weeks. A similar service from Australia to Manila was opened recently. The Japanese ConsulGeneral has stated that the service would be a distinct contribution to a better understanding between his country and Australia.
