LONDON WAREHOUSE ABLAZE. GOOD WORK BY FIRE BRIGADES. LONDON. August 26. The people of London had their first chance this morning of seeing the damage caused in Saturday night’s raid by German bombers. Photographs appearing in the Press showed the dome of St. Paul’s Cathedral silhouetted against the glow from a blazing warehouse, but there was nothing like that this morning, as a result of the work of the fire brigades and the A.R.P. organisation.
