A statement of accounts for the Centennial Eucharistic Congress, held in Wellington last February, has been issued to the Catholic community of Wellington. On the receipts side the total given is £11,779 11s 7d. Other receipts were as follows:—Congress brochure, £333 13s 4d; advertising. £554 12s (id; congress functions. £438 15s; contribution of Maori people. £839 5s 6d; miscellaneous receipts, £424; Catholic pavilion, £2Bl 12s 6d; debit balance, £65 15s 7d. On the payments side, the cost of putting the grounds of St Patrick's College in order is shown as £1532 18s Id; cost cf altar and seating, £1498 Ils 4d; ground amplification and processions, £217 16s 9d; miscellaneous, £4l 0s Id.
