CHURCH OF THE EPIPHANY

LADIES’ GUILD MEETING. The fortnightly meeting of the Church of the Epiphany Ladies’ Guild was held at the residence of Mrs F. Whitton. There was a large attendance of members and friends and a most enjoyable time was spent chiefly in knitting for the war purposes. Afternoon tea was served and then the Rev T. V. Pearson gave an interesting talk on World Affairs.

At a subsequent meeting of the Guild arrangements were finalised for holding a Church Social on Tuesday evening, August 27. The meeting closed with prayer.
