HARRIER ACTIVITIES
KIATERE CLUB. SATURDAY'S COMPETITIONS. The members of the Kiatere Harrier Club will journey to Morison’s Bush on Saturday at the invitation of Messrs A. J. F .Carter and H. Scrimshaw. The senior runners will compete for the Carter-Scrimshaw trophy ovei- a 6. 1 ,- mile course, which consists mainly of hills and road. The handicaps are as follow:—R. Greeks, scr. W. Burns 25 sec. W. MacDonald 50sec. W. Burgess lmin 15secs, A. L. MacDonald 2mins, R. Searanche 3min lOsec, V/. Teahan 3min 25sec, D. Nelson 3min 35sec, L. Bird 4min 30sec, L. Frances 4 min 45 sec, O. Gaskin 5 min, J. L. Burns 5 min 30 secs, C. Summers 7 min, A. MacKenzie 8 min.
The junior runners will race for club trophies over a 3 1-8 mile course, the handicaps for which are as follow: —N. Jacobsen scr. F. Sexton. S. Pickett 2mins 25 secs, I. Summers 3min 35 secs, J. Hodgetts 3 min 45 secs, G. Laing, A. Pickett 4 min 30secs.
