The third round in the New Zealand secondary schools hockey championship was decided this afternoon. Points scored to date are: — Section A: Gisborne High 6, Auckland Grammar A 5. Palmerston North High 5, Hamilton Technical 2. Seddon Memorial Technical 0, Wellington Technical 0. Section B: Stratford Technical High 6, Mt Albert Grammar 4. Wellington College 4, Howick District High 4. Auckland Grammar B 0. Wairarapa College 0. The results of matches in the third round were as follow:- — Section A: Auckland Grammar A 17, Seddon Memorial Technical 0: Gisborne High 10. Hamilton Technical 3; Palmerston North High 3, Wellington Technical 1.
Section B: Stratford Technical High 5, Wairarapa College 3; Mount Albert Grammar 3, Auckland Grammar B 2; Wellington College 2. Howick 0.
