Prices of fruit and vegetables in the Wellington market this week are quoted as follows:— Lemons, Meyer, 9s to 11s, a J-case; passion fruit, 15 to 25s a J-case. Tomatoes, hothouse. Is 7d a lb; tree tomatoes, 8s to 13s a j-case; grapefruit. New Zealand 7s, to 13s a case. Green peas. Is 3d to Is 6d a lb; new potatoes. 2d to 3:,'d a lb. Potatoes, 4s to 6s 6d a cwt; onions. 10s to 15s a cental bag; kumeras, 8s 6d to 9s 6d a sugar bag. Cabbage. Is 6d to 10s a sack; ditto, spring. 2s 6d to 6s a case; lettuce, 6s to 12s a case; sprouts, 17s to 23s a case; cauliflowers, 6s 6d to 12s a sack; silver beet. Is 3d to 5s 3d a case: spinach, 4s to 14s 3d a case. Marrows. Is 6d to 2s 6d a case: pumpkins. 6s to 15s a sack. Carrots, 2s 6d to 8s a case; swedes. 2s to 4s 3d a case; parsnips. Is 6d to 4s a case; beetroot, Is 6d to 3s a case; leeks. 2s to 3s 6d a case; celery, 5s to 12s 6d a .case; rhubarb. 4s to 16s a dozen bunches.
