CAMPAIGN FOR AMERICAN VICE-PRESIDENCY.

President Roosevelt has accepted the resignation of the Secretary of Agriculture. Mr Henry Wallace, to become effective on September 5. This will enable him to engage in an active campaign as the Democratic candidate for the Vice-Presidency.
