MACHINE-GUNNED & BOMBED.
(Received This Day, 12.45 p.m.) LONDON, August 19.
Raiders machine-gunned a Poor Law institution, crowded with aged and
sick patients, in a south-eastern, area. There were no casualties. Bombs fell near the same institution. Another raider bombed a south-eastern town in the afternoon, demolishing two houses.
