TOUR OF INSPECTION
MADE BY BRITISH WAR MINISTER. (British Official Wireless.) RUGBY, August 18. The Secretary of War; Mr Eden, spent the weekend in a comprehensive tour of inspection. On Friday he visited a number of units in south-western England, and he also inspected a contingent of the Royal Marines, various units of the Royal Artillery, and a “Young Soldiers' ” home defence battalion, consisting of youths between 18 and 20 years of age.
