TRY THIS FOR DINNER
ERAISED RABBIT. Cut 1 rabbit into serving pieces and soak in salted water for 3 hours. Drain and dry thoroughly, Roll in seasoned flour and fry in lard or bacon fat until well browned. Remove to casserole and add 1 finely-chopped onion to fat and fry until brown, but not burned. Now add the remains of the flour in which the rabbit was rolled, cook until brown, stirring all the time. Add 1 cup milk and 1 cup stock or water. Stir until boils, then pour over rabbit. In the meantime, boil lib pork sausages for 6 or 7 minutes or until they feel quite firm. Peel and cut into 2inch pieces. Add them ’to rabbit sprinkle with chopped parsley, cover well, and bake for 11 hours.
