INDOOR BASKETBALL

MEN’S COMPETITION GAMES. At the meeting held in the Y.M.C.A. on Tuesday night it was decided te carry on the men’s games for another round and to invite new players anc teams to compete in this round. With the object of giving new players some coaching and a general knowledge of the rules, practice games will be held in the Y.M.C.A. Gym next Tuesday night. Any teams or new players wishing to take part in these games' are asked to get in touch with Mr Gaze, secretary of the Y.M.C.A. before noon on Saturday. In addition to the practice games, a married v. singles men's match will b< played and as these teams will comprise of the pick of the local players it will be a splendid opportunity for prospective players to get a good idea of the game.
