Herr Funk, opening an industrial fair at Koenigsberg, declared that Germany’s food position was absolutely secure. "The British blockade." he said."is so thoroughly shattered that there-; is no need to feel the pinch of the food situation. Britain is choking in the blockade net in which she hoped to catch Germany.”
