CLOSED DOWN, IN TURKEY.

The Government has closed down the “Cumhuriyet.” Turkey's most prominent newspaper, and that with the largest circulation. This action was the result of pro-German editorials, stating that Turkey should accept the Axis new order for south-eastern Europe.
