PETAIN GOVERNMENT'S PROGRAMME.

The Petain Government lias begun a reconstruction programme for housing, agriculture and industry. Reconstruction has begun in twenty ports, including Cherbourg. Le Havre and Marseilles. About three hundred trains weekly are operating between occupied and unoccupied France as a result of the reconstruction of war-devastated communications.
