TORPEDOED & SUNK IN ATLANTIC ADMIRALTY & WAR OFFICE REPORT. SURVIVORS NUMBE 740 OUT OF 860. The Admiralty and War Office announce. Daventry states, that a British transport was torpedoed and sunk in the Atlantic. There were 740 survivors out of 860 on board the ship.
