MASSED BOMBERS
ATTACK ON ENGLISH TOWN. FAILURE TO DAMAGE SHIPPING. ' (Received This Day. 10 a.m.) LONDON, August 11. About thirty Dorniers, with an escort of Messerschmitts, participated in a raid on a south-west coastal town of England this morning. They dropped forty bombs of which six fell at the highest point in the locality and sent up clouds of earth and six fell among shipping, but it appears that none scored hits.
