CHURCH SERVICES
The Holy Communion will be celebrated tomorrow at 8 a.m. at St. Matthew’s Church and at 9 a.m. at Kuripuni. Archdeacon Rich will be the preacher morning and evening at St. Matthew’s Church. The Rev. T. V. Pearson will conduct the evening service at Kuripuni, and the Rev. V. W. Joblin that at Upper Plain. The services tomorrow at Knox Church, Tinui and Langade, and on Thursday at Solway, will be conducted by the Rev. John Davie. The Bible Class Group will conduct a service at Kaituna.
The third anniversary of the Baptist Fellowship in Masterton, will be celebrated by morning and evening services in the Y.M.C.A. building. Church Street, tomorrow, when the Rev. E. Batts, of the Lower Hutt Church, will be the speaker. The services at the Methodist Church tomorrow will be conducted by the Rev. H. S. Kings. The morning service will conclude with a Sacramental service. In the afternoon the Wairarapa Bible Class District Union will hold a thanksgiving service. Visitors will attend from Greytown, Featherston, Carterton and Eketahuna. At the evening service Mi - Kings will preach on "Three Would-be Followers of Jesus.” At both morning and evening services there will be special thanks-offerings for the new church roof. At Kuripuni. Mr Eric Steer will conduct- the evening service. The services at the Salvation Army Hall tomorrow will be conducted by Major and Mrs Mahaffie. The Major will take for his subject at the morning service, "The Separated Life.” and in the evening, "Tell Me the Truth.” Brother T. Hart, from Dunedin, will sing at each service.
