WINNING SIRES
PANTHEON HEADS LISTS IN AUSTRALIA.
BEAU PERE LOSES PLACE ON TECHNICALITY.
(By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright I (Received This Dav, 11.45 a.m.) SYDNEY. This Day.
Pantheon, who died last month, heads the winning sires' list prepared for the Australasian Turf Register. Pantheon's slock lias won £30,423 in the past season.
Beau Pore is shown as the sire of winners of £8,378 in Australia and a total of £31.295 when New Zealand winners are included. The progeny of Beau Pere won more stake money than any other Australasian sire, but a technicality deprives him of the distinction of heading the list. The statistics cover the winnings of the progeny of horses bred in Australia mid Australian-bred horses in New Zea-] kind, but Now Zealand sires are credit-I ed only with the winnings of their progeny in Australia.
