INOPPORTUNE AT PRESENT. STATEMENT BY DOMINIONS SECRETARY. (By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright I (Received This Day. 10.50 a.m.) LONDON. August 8. The Dominions Secretary, Lord Caldecote, in the House of Lords, said: ■‘The Government feels that the present moment is inopportune for inviting Dominion Ministers to London for an Imperial War Conference, but certainly would welcome such discussions if occasion offered.”
