ENEMY BOMBS

DROPPED IN SOME PARTS OF BRITAIN LITTLE DAMAGE REPORTED. EXCEPT TO SANATORIUM & SHOPS. LONDON, August 8. It is officially stated that isolated enemy planes dropped bombs in various parts of Britain last night. Little damage is reported except in a town in the north-east of England, where a sanatorium and shop property were considerably damaged. Leaflets were dropped in a district in the North of England. Some women walking on a country road were seriously injured. Raiders dropped big flares before bombing a south-east coastal town, where several houses were extensively damaged.
