ENTRY AT DAWN

ITALIAN OCCUPATION OF ZEILA ONLY ONE EUROPEAN STRUCTURE. MANY CAMELS CAPTURED. (Received This Day, 9.30 a.m). ROME, August 8. It is reliably reported that the Italian vanguard entered Zeila just after dawn, followed shortly afterwards by the main forces. The Italian flag was immediately hoisted over the house of the British agent, the only European structure in the town, the remaining ones consisting mostly of small native tukuls, made from driftwood, mud and gasolene tins. Thousands of camels were captured.
