Mr and Mrs J. Jewell. Wellington stayed at the Hotel Midland. Masterton. recently.
Mr and Mrs J. Gillies were Wellington guests yesterday at the Hotel Midland, Masterton. Miss Alice Ibbetson, of Church Street. Masterton, spent the weekend in Wanganui.
Misses A. M. Brown and R. Robinson have returned to Masterton from a visit to Marten.
The death occurred at Pahiatua yesterday of the Rev Mother Mary Vincent Kissane of the Brigidine Convent. Pahiatua.
Miss Phyllis Trapp, of Carterton. who has been on a visit to Sydney, will return home about the end of the month.
Miss F. Roebuck, Masterton. who has been spending a holiday at Wanganui and New Plymouth, has returned home.
