ARMY TEAM v WAIRARAPA. MATCH AT MASTERTON. The Wairarapa and New Zealand Army teams will meet at the Memorial Park. Masterton. on Saturday. The Army team will arrive in Masterton by train' on Saturday morning and wiL be quartered at the Empire Hotel during their stay, leaving again for Trentham ('n Sunday morning by rail-car Managed by an officer, the party wil' number twenty and will be entertained on Saturday night. Mr W. Grantham has been appointed referee tor > the game which will start at 2.30 p.m. Weather permitting a lower grade game will be played as a curtain-raiser to theArmy game. The whole of the profits after' paying the Army transport and hole! expenses, will be donated to the National Patriotic Fund. All club games, with the exception of the cur-tain-raiser. will be postponed next Saturday to enable players to see the Armv team in action.
