ADVANCE INTO BRITISH SOMALILAND THREE COLUMNS OPERATING. RESISTANCE ORGANISED. A communique issued by the British military authorities in Cairo and transmitted by Daventry states that the Italians began an advance into British Somaliland last Sunday. Three enemy columns are advancing towards Oadweina, Hargeisa and Oargara. British land and air forces have been organised to resist the advances, despite the collapse of French Somaliland.
