PETROL STOCKS
POSITION IN AUSTRALIA. STORAGE IN COUNTRY CENTRES. (By Telegraph—Press Association —Copyright) CANBERRA. August 6. Australia's petrol stocks are substantially above pre-war levels and will be further increased by the provision of storage space for millions of gallons at selected country centres, declared the Minister of Supply. Sir Frederick Stewart, today. He gave an assurance that a reasonable proportion of the stored petrol, would be available for commercial purposes.
