REPORTED IN AFRICA. (British Official Wireless.) (Received This Day. 11.19 a.m.) RUGBY, August 1. A Cairo communique states: "In Kenya, a reconnaissance made towards Dobel on July 30 has now withdrawn, after meeting strong opposition. On other fronts there is nothing to report." A Nairobi communique states: “There has been a quiet day. Our bombers carried out a raid on an enemy aerodrome at Yavello, the results of which are awaited.”
