READY RESPONSE
GLOVES FOR PILOTS AND OBSERVERS. FULL SUPPLY ASSURED. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON. This Day. A remarkable response met the appeal launched by the Air Force Relations Committee a few days ago for the knitting of gloves for pilots and observers on active service. No less than 2800 were required and within a day or two the Air Force Relations Headquarters, Wellington, found itself almost swamped with applications for the special wool to be used. A full supply is assured.
