BUSH RUGBY TEAM TO PLAY DANNEVIRKE. (“Times-Age” Special.) The Bush Rugby representatives to play Dannevirke at Dannevirke on Saturday for the Bebbington Shield have been selected by Mr S. The following are the results of the second round of the White Cup competition played by members of the Eketahuna Golf Club: —O. Walton beat Page; M. Fraser beat D. Fraser; Bouzaid beat B. Anderson; H. Walton beat Henderson; Rigden beat Quinlivan; V. Anderson won from Hornblow by default; R. Dickson beat Bradley; Marenzi beat Shale. The men’s Stableford competition was won by B. Anderson with 3(5 points. The best card handed in in the men’s medal competition was R. Dickson, 94, 25, 69. The first qualifying round of the championship will be played during the weekend. A medal competition will be played in conjunction with each round. The junior section of the ladies’ Southey Cup competition has been completed, the winner being Mrs W. Simpson. The draw for the first round of the ladies’ Herbert Cup competition to be played before August 17 is as follows: —Mrs Higginson v. Miss E. Simmers; Miss Herbert v. Mrs Page; Miss Greathead v. Mrs Berney; Mrs Dickson v. Mrs Mcßride; Miss E. O’Donnell v. Miss A. Simmers; Mrs Fraser v. Miss Ditkson; Mrs Henderson v. Miss O’Regan; Mrs Simpson v. Mrs Anderson.
