AMERICAN LEGISLATION. AMENDED BY SENATE COMMITTEE. (By Telegraph—Press Association —Copyright) (Received This Day. 11.35 a.m.) WASHINGTON, July 31. The Senate Military Committee amended the Burke-Wadsworth Bill to require the registration only of men from 21 to 31 years of age and eliminated the provision for service in Homo Defence units for those from 18 to 21 and from 45 to 64.
